If you want the best of both worlds, I would get the Greddy TD05 kit. You don't need NOS and its very driveable on the street. If you are a hp addict and have no life, get some huge turbos like me:) My car makes the power at 5000 and its not that fun on the street. Even though, I will catch up and blow 90% of the cars on the street after 5000's, its getting to 5000's that is frustrating. I have 7:8:1 compression so that doesn't help either. You also need $$$supporting mods$$$ for big turbos that are not necessary on TD05 equipped Z's. Here is a link for a good comparison.
